Andreas Schober, Dr Rer Nat Habil
Founder of our partner company pfs (professional figure service), Andreas has a wealth of hands-on scientific illustration and digital artwork experience, having worked as an artwork executive in the editorial office of Springer Heidelberg. In this role, he was responsible for editing and quality control of artwork submitted to Cell and Tissue Research, including cover illustrations for the journal. In addition, Andreas has had a highly successful career as a neurobiology researcher for more than three decades. Your figures couldn't be in better hands!
Raul de la Flor, MSc
Raùl has begun using his native Spanish and extensive experience from 15 years as a neuropharmacology researcher (at UCL, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Takeda and Pharmidex, where he is now head of CNS) to help Spanish-speaking researchers present their work in English in collaboration with NeuroEdit. Raùl's excellent translations are combined with Julia's editorial expertise to make the version you receive polished and publication-ready.
Elaine Seery, MSc
Elaine is the founder of our partner company International Science Editing. British-born and now based in Toulouse, France, Elaine has a background in computing science (in which she holds her Master’s degree) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and had a long and varied career in many different fields before becoming a full-time translator and editor. Her specialisms are translating and editing in the fields of computing, social sciences and psychology.
We're a small company with a strong focus: we help neuroscientists present their research effectively. Founded by Julia in 2011 as a geeky passion project, NeuroEdit has developed into a well-respected company, growing slowly and selectively, with the passion for our work remaining at our core. Based in the UK, we receive work from clients all over the world, from individual researchers to major publishing houses and author-services companies, including Springer Nature, the Charlesworth Group and Edanz. Contact us to see how we can help you publish your work in high-impact journals with a global readership.
